Itinerary
The Colca Valley is home to one of the deepest canyons in the world, making it a must-see for every Peruvian and foreigner.
- 3:00 AM - 3:30 AM Departure from the hotel or the designated location
- We begin our journey to the Colca Valley:
Along the Misti and Chachani volcanoes (the city's volcanoes), we enter the SALINAS AND AGUADA BLANCA NATIONAL RESERVE - Pampa Cañahuas, at over 4,000 meters above sea level. This vast plain represents one of the preferred habitats for the vicuña, where we can observe them in complete freedom.

Continue to the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint at 3,700 meters above sea level. The panorama from here is breathtaking. Below, the Colca River flows at a depth of 1,200 meters, while the cliff in front reaches 3,100 meters high, where you can see the perpetual ice caps. You can also observe the majestic flight of the condor, a bird that nests on the canyon cliffs.
- On the way back, you'll visit the villages of the valley:
Son Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, deeply religious villages, each with its own church built from sillar stone (of volcanic origin); the Antahuilque viewpoint, where you can appreciate the magnitude of the terraces; and Choquetico, with its hanging tombs and stone models.
